The Story Behind Arufa Natural Grade A ML:
The Arufa Grade A Natural Process is grown in a remote area of Papua New Guinea's Western Highlands, spanning the Arufa and Kindeng regions. The landscape is a broad plateau ringed by stony mountains—one of the first areas planted with coffee during colonial times, a tradition that continues today.
While the Arufa Natural takes its name from the region where it grows, it is produced by the Kindeng smallholder farmer network—a group that has been delivering exceptional coffee for more than a decade. The quality of this natural process reflects the farmers' deep commitment to their craft. Cherries are hand-picked and sun-dried for approximately one month before being hulled to parchment level, then sold to the Kagauga dry mill for further processing.
